Step aboard our beautifully restored Dining Car and enjoy a taste of Highland hospitality at its best. Whether you’re joining us for breakfast, lunch, or a slice of homemade cake, this charming railway carriage offers a unique and relaxing setting to dine in.

Our friendly local team serves a delicious range of freshly prepared breakfasts, light lunches, home baking, and drinks — all made with care and, where possible, using locally sourced ingredients for that extra touch of Highland flavour.

The Dining Car’s cosy atmosphere evokes the golden age of railway travel, when dining on the move was a leisurely pleasure. Though our coach no longer travels the line, it has been lovingly restored to capture that timeless sense of comfort and charm. You’re also welcome to sit outside on the verandah and take in the breathtaking views towards Loch Shiel.

As a thank-you for visiting, every guest who dines with us receives free entry to the Museum exhibition — the perfect way to complete your Glenfinnan experience.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday: 8:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Wednesday evenings: 5:30pm – 8:00pm
Closed Sundays & Mondays
(During July & August, we’re open on Mondays from 11:00am – 3:00pm for lunch only.)
